Company workers organize under International Boot & Shoe Workers Union. Management and workers continue outstanding relationship through today.
The Official Boy Scout Boot: The Hike n’ Camp is introduced with wedge sole and moccasin-style stitching. It becomes the company’s best-selling boot of all time and is still available in its original design today.

Weinbrenner employees took ownership of the company through ESOP.
Within three days of the September 11 terror attacks, Weinbrenner donates and ships 300 pairs of durable work boots to Ground Zero for those working in the rubble. Another 200 pairs followed three days later.
