Today at the boot guy we have this little number. Now most guys are not going to like this style of a work shoe. But,for a lot of other guys, this is the answer to a life long problem. Personally, I am not a big fan of the type of sole that is used on this boot. Blown rubber is a rubber compound which is either expanded or mixed with air during the production process, producing a relatively light, cushier outsole—although but it’s less durable than carbon rubber. The reason why I don’t care for it is the softness of the material. I find the leather that Carhartt has chosen for this boot to be outstanding for the price range.
At the end of the day, it all boils down to comfort and durability. The Romeo from Carhartt has at least one of the two. For most its the most important.
